You already work with hotels. Introduce the ones that would benefit from a branded guest app and digital concierge. Visby runs the demo, setup and support. You earn a commission on qualifying transactions at every hotel you refer, for as long as it stays on Visby.

Who it’s for

Built for businesses that already serve hotels

If hotels already trust you, an introduction from you carries weight. These are the partners we have in mind.

  • Hotel IT and PMS partnersNetworks, systems, integrations and support.

How it works

Three steps. Your part is the introduction.

  1. Step 1

    You introduce a hotel

Add it in your partner portal and send the ready-made introduction email from your own inbox, or share your partner link. We check it isn’t already on Visby or with another partner.

  2. Step 2

    Visby does the rest

We run the demo and the commercial conversation, set the hotel up, connect what it needs and support its team from then on.

  3. Step 3

You earn on what guests buy

When the hotel’s guests pay through Visby, you earn your agreed share of those qualifying transactions, paid monthly. Your portal shows every stage and every figure.

Why hotels say yes

An easy introduction to make

Visby starts after the booking. It works alongside a hotel’s existing reservation channels, so it doesn’t compete with how they sell rooms.

Their own guest app

A guest app and digital concierge in the hotel’s brand. Guests open it from a link or QR code, with nothing to download.

More revenue per stay

Guests book spa, dining, transfers, upgrades and local experiences before and during the stay, and pay by card in the app.

A better stay

Local recommendations, an AI trip planner, messages with the front desk, and a recap of the trip afterwards.

No upfront fee option

Hotels can start with no setup or monthly fee and pay Visby a share of what guests buy, or choose a flat monthly plan.

What you earn

A share of every qualifying transaction

1%proposed default, per hotel you refer

Our proposed default is 1% of qualifying transactions at each hotel you refer. Larger partners can agree custom terms.

  1. What guests pay through Visby
  2. Refunds and chargebacks
  3. Visby’s service fee
  4. Qualifying transactions
  5. Your agreed rate, 1% by default

Paid monthly to your bank through Wise

  • Set by agreementYour rate is written into your partner agreement and shown in your portal. It can differ by category, for example rooms and experiences.
  • For the hotel’s life on VisbyYou keep earning while the hotel stays active on Visby and your agreement is in force.
  • Real transactions onlyQualifying means what guests actually pay through Visby, less refunds, chargebacks and Visby’s service fee. No estimates, ever.
  • Paid monthlyOnce a payment clears its hold, it’s paid to your bank through Wise, after Visby’s review. Your statements stay in your portal.

Example scenario

What your introductions could add up to

Say you refer 400 hotels with 50 rooms each, 67% full, and guests spend $15 through Visby per occupied room-night. At the 1% default, this is what you would earn. Move the sliders to try your own portfolio.

Questions partners ask

The full details are in the Industry Partner Agreement. Anything else, email hello@visbytravel.com.

Is Visby a booking platform?

No. Visby doesn’t replace a hotel’s booking engine or OTAs. It starts after the guest has booked: a branded guest app and concierge where guests plan their trip and book the hotel’s extras.

Do hotels have to pay upfront?

No. Hotels can start with no setup or monthly fee and pay Visby a share of what guests buy, or choose a flat monthly plan instead. Visby walks them through both.

How does Visby get reservation details?

Hotels can add reservations from their booking confirmations or by hand, and go live without connecting a system. Direct system connections are in progress; Visby handles the setup with the hotel.

What counts as a qualifying transaction?

What guests at your referred hotel pay through Visby, such as room bookings, spa, dining, transfers and experiences, less refunds, chargebacks and Visby’s service fee. The Industry Partner Agreement has the full definition.

Is the commission always 1%?

One percent is the proposed default. Your rate is set in your agreement and can differ by category. Larger partners can propose custom terms.

What if another partner introduced the same hotel?

The first approved introduction counts. Each referral is checked against hotels already on Visby, Visby’s own outreach and other partners. If you think a hotel is yours, tell us and we’ll review it with a record of every decision.

When and how am I paid?

Monthly, by bank transfer through Wise, once commissions clear a 30-day hold and pass Visby’s review. You add your payout and tax details in your portal before the first payment.

Do I need to sell or support the product?

No. You make the introduction. Visby runs demos, onboarding and support. You can follow each hotel’s progress in your portal.

Can a company and its team join?

Yes. Apply as a company or as an individual. A company account is managed by one main contact who accepts the agreement on the company’s behalf.

Your next hotel introduction could pay for years.
