For travel creators
How travel creators earn from hotels and bookings in 2026
For affiliate links, Viator has the clearest terms (8% on experiences, a 30-day cookie, no follower minimum), and Expedia’s Travel Creator Program is open to anyone at up to 4%. Booking.com pays from 4% but only within the same browser session and refuses social-only creators.
Visby’s Creator Partner Program works differently and stacks with all of them: introduce a hotel you work with, and earn 1% of what its guests book through Visby every month, while the hotel still pays you for content. Free, no follower minimum.

Questions people ask
Straight answers. Anything else: hello@visbytravel.com.
What is the best travel affiliate program for creators?
For experiences, Viator: 8%, a 30-day cookie and no follower minimum. For hotels and rentals, Expedia’s Travel Creator Program is open to anyone at up to 4%. For recurring income from hotels you already work with, Visby’s Creator Partner Program pays 1% of their guests’ bookings through Visby every month.
How do travel creators make money from hotels?
Mostly through paid content (the hotel pays for the stay and posts) and affiliate links. Visby adds a third: introduce the hotel to Visby and earn 1% of its guests’ bookings through Visby, paid monthly by Visby, while the hotel still pays your content fee.
Do I need a lot of followers to join?
No. Visby’s Creator Partner Program and Viator have no follower minimum, and Expedia says anyone can apply. Booking.com doesn’t set a follower number but turns down creators with only social profiles.
Can I use Visby and affiliate links together?
Yes. Affiliate links pay when your audience books; Visby pays on bookings by every guest at the hotels you introduced. They don’t overlap.
